Think like a comedian.
ABOUT

Hi, I’m Hannah—leadership strategist, organisational development leader, and former touring stand-up comedian and musician.
For over 20 years, I’ve helped organisations build better leaders. But the real game-changer? Everything I learned on stage. From the comedy clubs to corporate culture, the parallels are sharper than you’d expect: reading the room, bouncing back from failure, landing the message, and earning the right to be heard.
My keynotes combine sharp insight with laugh-out-loud storytelling drawn from my lived experience as both a performer and a leader. They’re as relatable as they are practical, because when leaders learn to captivate an audience, they learn to inspire action.

I also speak on accessibility, inclusion, and Universal Design, helping leaders understand why designing for everyone isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s smart business.

Across national workforces, I’ve facilitated hundreds of leadership programs. I also host the award-winning ABLE Poddy, which elevates the voices of people with disability and caring responsibilities in the workplace.

Whether it’s a conference, masterclass, or leadership offsite, I’ll help your people sharpen their impact and deliver leadership that actually lands.

Let’s connect and see how I can help your leaders grow and deliver better business outcomes.

SPEAKING
I’ve spent years on stage as a stand-up comic, a musician, and a keynote speaker, and I’ve learned that leading a room and leading a team aren’t as different as you might think.
In both, the stakes are high, the spotlight’s on, and the audience is always giving you feedback—even if they’re not saying a word.
In this keynote, I share the leadership lessons I never found in textbooks or development courses. These are the ones I learned while holding a mic and facing a crowd. I explore how leaders can learn to read the room, especially when it’s silent. I talk about telling stories that enhance your message, not just sound good. I also delve into why feedback loops aren’t optional, and why the best leaders (like the best performers) use that feedback to constantly refine their delivery. I explore how properly embracing failure becomes fuel for success, and how real presence is about clarity and connection, not charisma. I also unpack how leaders can sharpen their message without watering it down—saying more by saying less while holding the nuance that matters.
I’ll work alongside you to tailor this talk to your audience and your goals, delivering something honest, funny, and deeply practical.
Punchlines & Pivots
What comedy taught me about leadership
The Job's the Easy Part
Showing up while carrying more? That's leadership in motion.
I know what it means to carry more than just a job. As a person with disability, a carer, and a corporate leader who’s spent over two decades navigating workplaces that weren’t designed with people like me in mind, I’ve seen firsthand the cost of exclusion and the power of true inclusion.

Through my award-winning podcast The ABLE Poddy, I’ve amplified stories that often go unheard, shedding light on the quiet but extraordinary leadership shown by carers and people with disability. They’re not just surviving—they’re demonstrating the very traits businesses seek out: resilience, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and accountability.

I deliver keynotes and masterclasses that challenge assumptions such as seeing reasonable adjustments as a barrier rather than a business asset. I also open up fresh perspectives on Universal Design, not just as a human rights imperative, but as an untapped competitive advantage. And I go beyond inspiration by giving you clear, actionable steps to make inclusion real in your workplace, for any person, in any role, at any time.

These sessions are candid, empowering, and commercially savvy. They help leaders tap into the unseen brilliance in their workforce and craft workplace cultures that don’t just work better… they work for everyone.

Let's get the conversation started.
